User Settings

Manage your personal account preferences, security settings, and payment methods from your user settings page.

Overview

The User Settings page allows you to customize your Eugo experience and manage account-level configurations that apply across all organizations you belong to. These settings are separate from organization-specific settings and follow you regardless of which organization you're currently working in.

How to Access

Navigate to your user settings by clicking on your profile menu in the top-right corner and selecting "User Settings", or visit /user-settings directly.

Available Settings

Password Management

Change your account password to maintain security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Current password verification required
  • New password must be at least 8 characters long
  • Must contain at least one number
  • Must contain both uppercase and lowercase letters

Process:

  1. Enter your current password
  2. Enter your new password (meeting the requirements above)
  3. Confirm your new password
  4. Click "Update password"
tip

After successfully changing your password, you'll be automatically signed out and redirected to the login page for security purposes.

Payment Methods

Manage your saved payment methods for billing across all organizations.

What You Can Do:

  • Add multiple credit/debit cards to your account
  • View saved card details (last 4 digits, expiration date, cardholder name)
  • Delete saved payment methods when no longer needed
  • Select which card to use when configuring organization billing

Adding a Payment Method:

  1. Click "Add new payment method"
  2. Enter your card details in the secure form
  3. Provide billing address information:
    • Full name
    • Street address
    • City and region/state
    • Country
  4. Click "Authorize" to save the card

Managing Existing Cards:

  • View all saved cards with masked card numbers
  • Click the "Remove" button to delete a card from your account

Theme Preferences

Customize the visual appearance of the Eugo interface.

Available Themes:

  • Light: Clean, bright interface ideal for well-lit environments
  • Dark: Reduced eye strain interface perfect for low-light conditions

Theme changes apply immediately across all pages and are saved to your profile.

Platform Language

Set your preferred language for the Eugo interface.

Currently Supported:

  • English (default)

Additional languages may be added in future updates.

Account Deletion

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Before You Delete:

If you're an organization owner, you must transfer ownership to another team member before deleting your account. Deleting your account will permanently remove all data associated with it, including any organizations you own.

To Delete Your Account:

  1. Navigate to the "Danger Zone" section in User Settings
  2. Click the "Delete Account" button
  3. Confirm your decision in the dialog that appears

If you need to retain an organization, transfer ownership to a team member before proceeding with account deletion.

Troubleshooting

Password Change Issues:

  • Verify your current password is correct
  • Ensure new password meets all requirements
  • Check for any network connectivity issues

Payment Method Problems:

  • Double-check that card details are entered correctly
  • Ensure your billing address matches the address registered with your bank
  • Try a different card if one is being declined
  • Contact support if problems persist

Theme Not Applying:

  • Refresh the page after changing themes
  • Clear browser cache if issues persist
  • Check if browser extensions are interfering
